The wingspan is about 73” and it’s 35” down the center.

This was my first lace other than socks (how is it that I’ve been knitting for nearly 35 years and just now knit lace?), first finished shawl (Lady Eleanor will be making her final appearance here soon) and my first project with my first spindle spun yarn. That’s a lot of firsts!

I’m really pleased with how this turned out and can’t wait to try the designer’s newest shawl--Spring Things.
