for the head/mantle 4 stitch beginning…

1. cast 4 stitches onto 1 dpn, work one row as for i-cord
2. transfer 1 stitch each onto 3 dpn
3. lay your needles down on flat surface and sort them out, making sure no stitches are twisted
4. work KRL, K1 on first needle, continue on each needle, laying needles back down to sort and untwist as needed
