Notes

I had trouble understanding this pattern at first. You should note that there is errata: R2 of the pattern should read M1, K1, M1. In other words, round 2 could also read “M1, K1, M1, M1, K1, M1, M1, K1, M1, M1, K1, M1. At the end of round 2 you should have a total of 12 sts. Those two M1s in a row are a bit difficult. I did mine like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YatO6Kt08vo

I stuffed the tooth at the point when I started the “feet”, then I stuffed each “foot” right before I kitchnered. I wanted my feet to be a little longer, so I added 4 more rounds (or so) of K to each foot. On the last round, I K2 all the way around to the last stitch and then K1 to make an even count. I did this to taper the foot.

I wanted this to hold a tooth for the Tooth Fairy, so I added a pocket to the back. I knitted the pocket flat (separate from the tooth) cast on 6 sts and work back and forth in stockinette for 8 rows then cast off and whip stitch the bottom and sides of the pocket to the back of the tooth.

I hope these notes help if anyone else has issues like I did :)
