11-27-20 - Finally finished this strap! I began loving it more as I went along. I do wish there was more contrast in the middle of the braid, and I tried with an additional color on the middle 5 threads, but it was not enough. It’s also very long, the max of my loom! There is almost 7 feet of strap!

11-7-20 - Finally got moving on this project. I had some uneven warp tension that delayed my start. Then I realized I made some mistakes with the threading, so had to remove those. Then I was weaving and couldn’t get my design right, and realized I had too many pattern threads. Days went by in between these realizations, while I contemplated how to work them out. Blah, total motivation killer! I still have some little things wrong, but decided to go with it. I wasn’t even sure I wanted to continue with this pattern, but I do really like it, so here we are, finally!
