Notes

6-20-22 - I still love the pattern, it is so beautiful! But I wasn’t able to fix the mess I made, without making more of a mess. It had worn me out. So I cut it off the loom, I would have only been able to weave another 2-3 inches anyways. But I should have enough for the project I have in mind, so yay!

6-13-22 - Oh, the things I do to myself. I had originally decided to change my border design to be an even branch effect. I was weaving along but then decided I wanted it to be a staggered effect. This is a very short warp, so I decided to unweave back quite a way. Of course, this was a frustrating, time consuming effort. I finally got back to where I wanted to be. But of course, in the meantime, I had messed up a threading order. I have been slowly working on it, but it was draining my enthusiasm on the project. I finally really put some effort into it this past weekend at the campground. Under such a peaceful environment, I was relaxed and energized enough to work through it, and I’m finally weaving normally again! Yay!

5-24-22 - I’ve been wanting to try this design for the longest time. I wanted to be sure my colors were okay, so I only warped a short band, probably one of the shortest I can do on my inkle loom. Warping seemed to take me forever. But I started actual weaving and realized my set up was wrong. I was actually able to study what I had vs what I should have, and I think I have it figured out. I’ll have to look at it again today and be sure!
