Notes

This is a totally impractical afghan. But it’s pretty! Four out of seven rows done … I don’t mind crocheting the tiny flowers out of embroidery floss. What I really hate is attaching them with thread and making everything look invisible on the back side!

Since this is supposed to be an afghan for the fair, I have decided to add small thread crochet hearts to the back sides of the squares, conveniently hiding any and all visible threads. (I hope.)

All done! Going to the Fryeburg Fair tomorrow!
More pics of the finished beast later. I really burned out on this one, and spent the last month with it in my lap at night complaining about how much I hated the thing. My husband was really great at encouraging me just to finish it…I think he was sick of my complaining!

First place at the Fryeburg Fair!

Thanks to mismaxx for advice and encouragement, too! :-)
