Update Oct. 23, 2024: ripped out decreases at one end of the hat and knit 2” more, then made decreases.
The first five photos are after hat was modified to knit to Adult Large length (as per pattern). Now, this hat can be worn with a little more variation.

Cast on and first two rounds: likely early January 2024; date unknown.

Began with dpn’s until ready to begin using 16” circ.;
dpn’s again near end of the hat, during decreases.

Jan. 20th: I did not have a 16” 3mm circ. needle; project was on hold until circ. needle arrived a few days later.
