I was looking to create something classic for a co-worker’s baby. I had a few balls of this lovely gray colour (that I think has been discontinued) and it’s turning into a very gorgeous piece.

Each hex weighs 5.8g, which means I can get 23-24 hexs per ball, and based on my calculations I’ll need 32 to completed the blanket the size I want which will leave me with plenty of yarn to fill in the side gaps of the hexs and do a nice border!

Jan 26 - 8 hexs done! 24 more to go!

Feb 4 - I haven’t done any more hexs… other projects keep popping up that need to be done first and this has unfortunately fallen to the wayside…
