10/29/10 Starting my hood today!!! I’m so excited, though not looking forward to all the fptc/bptc. And because I don’t think I’ve ever made anything by actually following the pattern to the T, I’m starting off with a ch 59, that I’m going to work on both sides of the chain and avoid seaming the back of the hood. Hopefully this works!

11/01/10 So, finished up the main body of the hood, and then the bottom ribbing and I tried it on and hated to size, so I’m going up to the 5mm and hoping the extra little bit will help :) But the first part worked up crazy fast, so it will again.

11/03/10 Back up to row 13 of the hood body, I should be able to start ribbing tonight (hopefully). I changed up the cable pattern a bit, I’m alternating between right and left twists the entire way around the hood.

11/13/10 So… I haven’t crocheted anything since the 3rd, I did however read 5 novels… but that’s unrelated. I just finished up the bottom ribbing and have started the top ribbing, hopefully I’ll finish this thing up shortly :)

11/27/10 I’m done!!! a crazy bout of insomnia last night gave me the energy and time to finish my hood! which I admit I should have been done weeks ago… now I’m designing a matching pair of mittens, will post finished images asap. I used the H hook for most of the pattern, and switched to a 4.5mm for the button placards.
