Notes

I believe that Ailbíonas new sweater is one of the most satisfying stranded colourwork-knits I have ever made…
Yarn and design is in perfect harmony, details keep your interest and intricate colourwork-elemets are all parts of the overall colourwork-pattern. Clever and easily memorized.

What a lovely knit for winter Solstice and the cold seasonsnowflakesnowflakesnowflake

Pattern:
Get ready to steek, sew and pick up sts from a steeked edge.
Not a problem at all, the details are well explained, and given the right yarn, assembling the parts of this sweater is interesting and fun.

Yarn:
You need a steekable yarn for this design.
I want to wear this sweater indoors, so I opted for 1 strand of Nutiden, colourway Omge for MC, held together with a thin alpaca/linen yarn to get a slightly lighter sweater.
CC is two strands of Nutiden, colourway Mogen.
Perfect colour-combination!

Mods:
I shortened the sleeves approx. 5 cm. to still get a full cuff.
Cast on 42 sts in stead of 46 for collar, to get a slightly smaller collar. It suits me perfectly for indoor use.
No other mods, it’s perfect as isheart

Thank you, Ailbiona!
