To make a next to perfect circle you cannot have your increases come on the exact same place on every round because that will leave you with a hexagon shape instead. This pattern prevents this from happening.
The rondelle measures appx. 6.5 cm across.
sc = single crochet stitch
ch = chain stitch
m1 = 2 sc in the same stitch. Make the first one through the loop closest to you and the second one through both. This will give you an almost invisible increase.
Round 1: 6 sc around a magic circle (6) Join the round with a slip stitch through your first sc and pull really tight. Ch1 and pull tight again.
From here on always make your first stitch on a new round in the same stitch in which you made the joining slip stitch.
Round 2: m1 in each sc (12)
Round 3: (m1, 1sc) x 6
Round 4: (2sc, m1) x 6
Round 5: 1sc, (m1, 3sc) x 5, m1, 2sc
Round 6: (m1, 4sc) x 2, m1, 2sc, ch4, skip 3 and then 4sc, (m1, 4sc) x 2
Round 7: 4sc, (m1, 5sc) x 2, 5sc around the chain, 2sc, (m1, 5sc) x 2, m1, 1sc
