Someone at my knitting group was giving this yarn away and I was attracted to the fiber content.
The yarn doesn’t feel as soft as I had expected with the cashmere (13%).

It took me three attempts to start. At first I decided to do a double sided cast on ( Judy’s Magic Cast On) like I do with toe-up socks, but decided against it . Then I did a provisional Cast On, but the waste yarn I was using was too short. The third time was Ok and I managed ten rows before my hand started hurting.

Picked this up after one of many hibernation time-outs.
Having worked with some 100% Cashmere yarn during the break from this project, I feel a noticable difference in softness woman-shrugging, but I am soldering on, especially since I am almost finished ( about 30 more rows).

Kitchener stitched it today. I flipped my work in the center two purls and it came out perfectly.
I needed the needle for another project. star-struck
