I WAS going to give my sore shoulder a six week break while visiting family in both the UK and Germany. Well….that lasted less than one week. First I made four more squares to give to Leanne for the 2023 yarnbombing in Formby, England and then this pretty yarn was calling out to me. At 50p at the Oxfam shop, I could hardly say no…
BUT I am pacing myself and only do a little here and there. I am not even sure whom I will gift this to.

I wouldn’t normally use these short DPN‘s, but it’s all I have at hand. They do make it a little difficult to keep proper tension.

After a few days I put it down and frogged it once I was back home. That’s no reflection on the pattern or yarn; it just didn’t really speak to me.

About one week into the project I did put my knitting down to take a break, rest my shoulder and rekindle my passion for knitting
