Followed Sarah’s lead in this but use #10 needles for this worsted weight yarn. Here is her boxy top

This is the third boxy top I am making and this time I cast on 2x 75 sts =150 sts and am working this in the round following more or less Sierra’s lacy tunic instructions for knitting the different sections in the round.

To make the Netting Stitch look more like in the Cancun Top I alternate between these rounds:
1 * YO, K2tog * the k2tog are a solid st with a YO
2. * P2tog, YO * the P2tog are a YO with a solid st

For the dropped stitch pattern I only did two wraps and purled on the drop row.

6.10.: All I had to do today: I turned it inside out, did a stretchy 3-needle- bind off across the shoulders ( 26 stitches) and stretchy bind off around the neck (23 stitches). It’s done and I am loving it. If my sister does not like it, I know who will .
I am adding a couple of garter stitch rounds around the armholes for a more finished look. Picked up 21+21 for a total of 42 sts around each armhole. Purled one round, knit one round and did a stretchy bind off purl wise.
