Over Christmas I had everyone pick out yarn from my stash and decide on either a pair of socks or a cowl.
This yarn is going to be made into a cowl for Soph.

Had to make a decision right at the beginning: do I want the rolled edges or do I want to avoid them and if I don’t want the rolled edge, do I do a ribbing or a garter stitch ?
I the end I decided to let it roll. With a width of 12“ and a double wrap around the neck, it should be fine.

I have to admit that I got bored with the honeycomb pattern and did a middle section of patches of stockinette stitch and honeycomb stitch.

I got a lot of the knitting done while in the car ( as a passenger ) and finished it on Bonita Springs beach in Florida.
I really like how this came out, especially the added middle section.
