Knitting this for my best friend from elementary school with whom I reconnected a couple of years ago.
Her favorite colors are pastels and I think these fit the bill.

5.28. Cast on using the German Twisted cast on on the larger needle pulling the tail from the middle of the ball, then switched to US #4 since this is thinner yarn. It will still be plenty big enough. The color is a very light peach, almost like a blush.
I like how there is minimal but still noticeable contrast and additional contrast in the fiber as the Farmers Daughter yarn is a merino -silk blend and has a lovely sheen.

6.2. Noticed at the end of row 15 that I made a mistake all the way at the beginning of the row and thus am off by two stitches. Painstakingly undoing the row
Can’t make any excuses here, I worked this pattern before and should have known to be more careful. Placed makers before re-knitting the row at 18 sts and then every 24; right at the wrap and turns of the previous row.

6.11. Place markers every 12 sts, last 18 sts.

7.2. Finished all of the knitting, just need to block the scarf now, but will wait for the next hot and sunny day.

8.2. Blocked, wrapped and shipped. Now the anxious part of waiting for the package to arrive in Germany.
