What to do …. suggestions:
I have 2 similar Lurex from the italian connection, same as the one used in your mohair wrap - picture please - but different colours.
Rosegold = warm beige trace wrapped with yellow gold metal
KinGin Gold = offwhite trace wrapped with pale gold metal
BeigeGold = beige trace wrapped with yellow gold metal
Beige Pailetten = beige trace wrapped with beige threated pailettes every 4 cm in shiny silver which create nice reflections and movement in the fabric.
The KinGin is very yellow against the yarn combo, the RoseGold would intensify the warmth and depth of the overall color effect but I have to say - not knowing what you’re going to make - as a classic piece I would opt for the tone on tone beige/gold both lurex and paillettes to increase the reflections and make it adaptable both to silver or gold surrounds / jewelry. Anyway you have done understated bling for so long a little drumroll with added pailletes would be a step up in the glam department maybe even go to double lurex single paillettes. My fingers are itching shall I swatch … you tell me maybe you just thinK “now she’s gone bonkers …” no I haven’t this combination is a classic Chanel approach … food for thought!
