Toyama is a cross over cardigan knit and worked in all over moss stitch in two colours. Now here is what I am proposing:

ITO KINU, GIMA and WASHI offer matching shades to create a similar fabric. Use KINU for a lighter fabric, or GIMA 8.5 to exagerate the moss stitch, combine with WASHI to give the fabric some crispness, double up the yarn by themself or mix and match to achieve your perfect fabric.

The original cardigan is knit in Rowan - Pure Linen, Needle Size: 4.5mm, with Tension / Gauge: 18 S / 45 R over moss stitch. Whichever ITO Yarn you choose the fabric will be more open as they tend to expand in width but not depth keeping the fabric cool, creating nice drape.

Meterage / Yardage should be roughly as per pattern multiplied by 2, as you kit with 2 strands. Only Washi might require more as it is the thinnest yarn.
