Ch 3, sl st into circle
Round 1: 16dc into circle, sl st to complete round (16sts)
Round 2: 2dc in each st, sl st to complete round (32sts)
Round 3: sc in space ch 3, repeat 15 more times, sl st, to complete (16 chain loops)
Round 4: Start in any chain space, 2dc,ch2,2dc, ch1, 2sc in next space, ch1,2sc in next space,ch1, 2sc in next space, ch1, repeat 3 more times (4corners and 4 sides)
Not sure if I will make a cardy or a blanket with it yet???
Variation: More flower like than circle.
Ch 4
Round 1: 8dc with 2ch between sl st to complete
Round 2 sc in space, 3 ch between, sl st, to complete round
Round 3: change colour 4 dc in eachch loop with 2ch, between each, sl st to complete round
Round 4: start in any space, 2dc 2ch 2dc, ch4, 2sc in next space, ch4, repeat 3 more times, sl st to complete round. (4 corners, 4 sides)
Round 5 1dc,ch2,1dc in corner space, 1dc in next 2 sts, 3dc in next ch space, 1dc in next 2 sts, 3dc in next ch space, 1dc in next 2 sts, repeat 3 more times, sl st to complete round.
FLOWER Variation:
CHANGE ROUND 2 to a black or very dark colour and you have a totally different more flower like look.
OR:
Make a flower not a motif byt doing round 3 as petals
Round 3: chain 3, 3 or 4 tr chain 3 sl st into smae stitch, sl st into next stitch repeat 7 ore times, sl st to complete round.

Decision made to make a jacket using lots of small end balls of left over yarn and James C Brett Marble DK to join them all together.

top of the body and one sleeve so far

Added a couple of rows in length but going to make it longer. Second sleeve going in today too.
