Cast on 42 to agree with pattern

Heel foundation rows. 22 stitches needed - 1 cast on in centre.

Slip 1 knit 10 stitches, turn. Slip 1, purl to end of needle cast on 1 stitch at beginning of other half of row then purl 10 stitches - this is at the end of the line where there were k2 stitches

End of gusset on row 13 then down to toe. +/- 8 to gusset. Total of 60 rounds from heel turn to change of colour. on next row, start decrease alternate rows.

Just a bit too small with casting on 42 for the pattern instead of the usual 44. Will start on the next pair and cast on 48 and use 3.75mm needles.

17 January started second sock and make this one the same as the Second pair as.
Finished on 24th January.
