Work 36 stitches on the next row to fit the heel flap over the back join of stripe (This is only on the ribbed socks to get the ribs correct and the heel centred over the centre join for horizontal stripes. It’s much easier than counting 12 stitches then turning and purling 24. I’m going to try that one on the other sock as well, as it is the first time I’ve done it fully.)
