I’ve got this nice Pearl Rios but will most likely have enough bits and pieces of other colours all over the place for the stripes.

Pearl MC and Maple CC1 & Diana CC2

Started on a different pattern but decided against it as I preferred this one. Cast on with 4mm then switched to 3.75mm, which seams to be a good combination.

15 rows rib, knit 1 row CC1
Change to MC knit to row 30

Change to CC knit 11 rows
41 rows

Change back to MC and knit down to heel 13cm from cast on - 63 rows.
Follow those from now on. They seem just about right re measurements.

Knit normal flap heel and heel gusset, making usual alterations then heel turn.
Heel turn and gusset both second size in brackets for size 48.

Foot in MC 60 rows from gusset pickup stitches. This is the easiest row to mark.
Knit 1 round change to 2nd CC. Knit 1 round then star toe.
