I made the arms and head today then discovered it was the wrong skin tone. Will save them for later.
Another set of arms and head will be done today. The rest tomorrow. I have carte blanche for the clothes. The parents want to be surprised. OH goodie.
Have changed the pattern to incorporate feet.

Sept 6th picture, head is just balanced in place, he has a bump on the right side of his head. Details to add on the weekend and he should be ready for Monday.

I have added the bump on his head and his scars.
For his hair, I split the worsted yarn into 2 plies from 4 plies, cut it into lengths and put it on with a smaller crochet hook, just like hooking a rug. Because his hair is thin I only added it to every other stitch.
