Jan 19/09 I promised my nephew a sweater years ago. I should have made it when he was smaller..Oh well. I bought more wool than I need (12 balls), I like to err on the side of caution.
In order to reach 20 st to 4 “ I have to knit on 3.75mm needles.
I started yesterday but I find the black dye coming off on my fingers. I am wondering if I will have to “hank” the ball and wash the wool before I move to the second ball. I am very concerned about what happens when I start adding the ivory colour.
Feb 14, 09: Everything is on hold. Waiting for a sleeve measurement.
Mar 8, 09 : Finally got the sleeve measurement. Should finish one sleeve today and get started on the other one. Then I get to the “fun” part. The skull!

This has been on hold for 2 months I became obsessed with the Daffodil Tablecloth.
I am assured the expression on Matt’s face is “extreme” joy.. Who knew?
