Trying to get my knitting mojo back. This is a little more complicated but I have knit it twice before so I think I am up to it. My next project with be a double knit sweater. This will be good practice. fingers crossed.
#6 seed beads in green, red, gold, pearls, and crystal
Rib the background band.

Really really annoyed. I made a bad mistake over 300 stitches back and I have to pick it back 1 stitch at a time. Determined to stay up until I finish row 17 AGAIN pensive

Day 5 was a bust only got one row knit. Sigh
day 6 making more progress.
Note to self: Never knit with Czech beads again! I always buy Toho but Michael’s was woefully understocked and I was stuck with the #6 Czech. The beads are uneven and the holes are different sizes, which in knitting is a real pain!

Oh my goodness, I have fallen behind, so much going on this week. Must finish this. ASAP

Has been placed in time out, The yarn splits, I dropped stitches. Just not into it any more.

Removing the crown from time out. Now that we have had time away from one another I feel it is time to give it another chance.

In the interests of my sanity I am no longer going to double knit this hat. I will finish the upper layer, flip it inside out and knit the other side. I am so tired of moving stitches around I just want to be done. I can not remember how did this before but this has to be easier!
Add the fur collar and it is done.

I woke up at 2:30 am with a splitting headache. Got up had a tea and some tylenol and finished this other headache. If I ever think this is a good idea again I need to read my notes. Three times I have knit this crown and I am finished. Just have to add the fur trim sometime today and take pictures for the auction. Never so relieved to see a project finished!
I use Cascade 220 a lot. This Cascade fingering is terrible, nothing like the quality I find in the 220 line. Will never buy it again.
The only good thing about this project is, I got my knitting mojo back even if I almost lost my mind doing it.
