The wedges are addictive! I’ve never made anything with a double-ended hook before. A fun project.
The colours remind me of traffic cones and those fluorescent jackets traffic policemen and people who work on the roads wear.
For this length of scarf, I used ~322 m of each colour, but that’s two strands of fingering weight held together.
Great fun and once you ‘get’ the pattern, you don’t need to refer to the instructions again. Quick to do as well. I’d have finished much faster if I hadn’t watched TV instead of listening to an audiobook throughout.
As I said, it’s my first double-ended Tunisian project, and I see how there are endless possibilities. I was happy to put my cabled Tunisian hooks from Pony to use finally.
Once again, though, as in my interlocking project, choosing two related colours means the contrast is low. I wonder how it would look with two colours on opposite sides of the colour wheel.
