This was soothing. Despite the fuzziness. There is something relaxing about plain weave, where all you do is watch the colours develop. For my simple brain, it is enough. No wonder I am not venturing too far out from this path.
I threaded the ASIL in the space of 30 minutes or so, leaving out about 5 slots + holes, giving me 54 ends in all of 90”. Then I used up the rest of the skein in weaving. Much of it was done in bed :)
The yarn is very soft to the touch, but fuzzy. If you were to knit or crochet with it, you might want to be careful how you do it, because it is difficult to undo. Or perhaps putting it in the freezer would subdue some of the fuzz.
I was expecting to get a sort of plaid, but this happened instead. Twisted the fringe, since I know it will hold nicely.
For the man (or woman) who does not see everything in black and white (not me, emphatically).
