I picked up this Linen Quill yarn at Purl Soho and fell in love with the color combo!

The design allows all the colors to mix in, with enough changes in texture and stitch to keep things interesting. The shawl is an angled rectangle, so there’s a little shaping only on the RS rows.

Big stretches of Garter stitch are smooth sailing. The lace sections are fairly easy, as the lace repeats are straightforward and it’s a 12-row rep that is both charted and written.

The resulting shawl is so beautiful to wear! It drapes so easily with the angled shape and generous width.
