Notes

Hoo boy. This is a classic “I love my friends, but really wish they’d stop buying me yarn” project. My last birthday gift was a massive bag of boucles, novelty yarns, and “exotic fiber”/acrylic blends, none of which I would ever even consider buying for myself. And so the bag was flung open before my relatives, with a cry of, “Please want something out of this.” Thus this scarf was born. The yarn is evil. The mohair grips like a bitch, and the metallic doesn’t knit at the same pace as the rest of the fiber. But my grandmother likes it so far, and brioche looks nice while being basic enough that I can work on it in the movie theater or while letting the rats out for supervised playtime.
