’Teststrick für Oekotante’s Sterntaler

Die Sterntaler ist ein Märchen der Gebrüder Grimm:

“Ein armes Waisenkind, das außer einem Stück Brot nichts besitzt, geht in die Welt hinaus. Unterwegs verschenkt es sein Brot, dann seine Mütze, sein Leibchen, sein Röckchen und schließlich auch sein Hemdchen an andere Bedürftige. Da fallen die Sterne als Silbertaler vom Nachthimmel, und es hat ein neues, feines Leinenhemdchen an, in das es sie aufsammelt.”

• Die Socken habe ich Toe Up gestrickt
• Den Chart am Fuß habe ich mit 64 Maschen gestrickt. Den Rest mit 60 Maschen
• Bumerang Ferse (ich stricke sie mit Shadow Wraps)
• Nach der Ferse habe ich 4 Runden Rechts gestrickt und dann ab der 5.ten Runde mit der Zunahme begonnen.
• Ich habe mit einer Rundstricknadel gestrickt, deshalb ist das Bild vorne und hinten und nicht seitlich.
• Nach dem Chart noch 5 Runden Rechts und dann mit 64 Maschen das Bündchen. Habe 12 Runden 2R2L gestrickt.

The Star Money“ or “The Star Talers” is a German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm:

A goodhearted unnamed orphan girl has only her clothing and a loaf of bread that a kind soul has given her. She goes out into the countryside to see what might happen. She gives a hungry man her bread, and to three cold children she gives her cap, her jacket, and her dress. After wandering into a forest, she sees a naked child begging for a shift (long undergarment), and since it is dark and she cannot be seen, she gives her own away. As she stands there with nothing left at all, suddenly stars fall to earth before her, transforming into talers (gold coins), and she finds herself wearing a new shift of the finest linen. The story ends with her being rich.

• I knitted the socks toe up
• I knitted the chart on the foot with 64 stitches, after that i knitted with 60 stitches.
• Knitted the boomerang heel with shadow wraps
• After the heel i knitted 4 rounds stockinette, in the 5.th round i started the increases.
• i knitted with a circular needle, so the picture is in front and back and not on the side.
• After the chart i knitted 5 rounds stockinette, knitted cuff with 64 stitches 12 rounds 2K2P.
