By request from Shandon, a straight-up black beanie. Knitted in Bernat Satin yarn because it’s so nice to knit with, because it’s soft, and I enjoy the yarn!

Update: Finished Dec 3/2011. Knitted up very well, this one is finally long enough, perhaps an inch too long, but at least this one truly covers his ears.
Will get pictures and measurements later today.

I cast on 100 stitches, and it leaves room for growth, without looking floppy. finished, the diameter is 9” and the finished length, from top to bottom of cast on edge is 10”.

This a loose yarn, so take this into consideration.
