I went up a needle size from the last one and cast on twice as many stitches--actually i just kinda kept going til it felt good, which came out to be 246 st. I’m very happy that i changed it from the last one, the fabric drape is much nicer.

I do like the fabric drape, but the I think it’s too long. I would do about 50-60 fewer stitches on the next one. so only 200 st MAX. that would’ve also made it a bit wider, which would be nice. oh well, next time.

now that other xmas presents are (mostly) finished, I can re-do this one properly. too bad I didn’t heed the directions the first time…

Note to self (from etsy): “garter stitch cowl measures 37 inches in circumfrence and 24 inches in width.” -happiknits

The cowl i did (didn’t count EXACTLY how many stitches, but stopped somewhere around 180)
measured 5in wide and was 22 in long when in half (half the circle).
