cast on 100 stitches on 4mm, k3,p2 repeated it for just over 15cm

Cast on 120 / 140 stitches and join in the round working in rib pattern (knit 3, purl 2), starting the rows with knit stitches.

Knit until piece measures about 20cm or 8”

The decreases are KKS (knit-knit-slip = knit two stitches and then slip the first of these two over the second).

First decrease round: work 26 / 31 stitches in rib pattern, KKS, place marker, knit 28 / 33 stitiches in rib pattern, KKS, place marker, knit 28 / 33 stitches in rib pattern, KKS, place marker, knit 28 / 33 stitches in rib pattern, KKS, place marker, purl 2.

The following decrease rows: work to two stitches of marker, KKS, repeat from.

Decrease until 12 stitches remain.

Break yarn and thread it through the remaining stitches, pull tight and weave in the yarn.
