Notes

Note about the band: Some people were confused about the band of the cloche. The bind-off of the band is sewn on to the SIDE EDGE of the ruffles (the row-ends of the wider, bottom, ruffle), right to the CO. I hope my photos help.

Because of the smaller needles, it took a little longer to knit than my laziness would’ve liked, so I stalled a little on the band :p However, like Laura says, knitted tightly, the Rowan Lux creates a really lovely woven fabric. It is such a shame that this yarn is discontinued!

This design is absolutely gorgeous. I wore it today and so many people came up to me and asked me where I bought it!

Hubby’s photography meant the pics are mirror images (do excuse the posing :p). I followed the book for which direction the ruffles go.
