I winged crocheting the cuff making chain until it fit around my head and joining it. Then I DC several rows until it looked about right. Truthfully the yarn was horrible to work with but it was perfect for the cuff
I knitted the body of the hat starting by picking up 88 stitches on a 24” circular needle. I put a Marker at the beginning of the round and then 3 more markers with 22 stitches between.
Knit around 6 “ then decrease by K2tog 2 stitches before each marker on every 3rd round. Until there are 4 stitches left. Run yarn through stitches and draw up and tie off. Attach yarn tassel
