Notes

Perfect pattern, perfect yarn.

I used Handspun Hope’s natural black merino for all borders, which elevates the design to a “rustic city stroll” character.

As needed, I followed the pattern for size 45 1/2 for the length and 49 1/2 for the width. The pattern is so well written that this was easy to do.

I LOVED the 3-Stitch 1-Row Buttonhole, which was new to me. Interesting wrap-and-turn makes it more sturdy than the usual 2-row approach. I worked it over 4 stitches because the buttons that I used (natural horn buttons from Handspun Hope) are a little bit bigger. Also, I only had six buttons, but that was not a problem.

One thing I would change next time: Work the buttonholes in the center of the band.

Errata: In Shape Shoulder … “With WS facing out …”

Needles used: Chiaogoo fixed circular.
