Chain of coincidence …

• I received my yarn to make my Hexaparty cardi yesterday, which made me feel like wanting to start crocheting. BUT it’s not October 1st yet!
• Unrelated, a friend of mine posted about some “now popular granny-crochet chicken” patterns …
• What granny-crochet chicken? … I had to ask myself.
• Google found Sweet Softies’ adorable Granny Square Chicken!
• The pattern reminded me of Berroco’s new logo …
• I stash-dived for some blue and white Berroco yarn … I found “something” … not perfect, but it will do.
• Boy, was it fun to make that chicken, and it hit the right spot for my crochet craving!

Now I have a Berroco mascot to accompany me during the upcoming make-along and beyond. I named it Berglass.

And if you ask Berglass … it’s favorite pattern is of course the Hexaparty!

PS: The pattern might be a great idea to use up any yarn leftovers from the cardies that we are going to make during this make-along!
