2-28-16 - took some pictures today. It is a cloudy day, so the colors are rather dull. Lovely shawl. Very big. Fun to knit.

Yarn left over - Sweet Georgia (gray) 22 g, Madelinetosh (red) 67 g.

2-22-16 - finished knitting. Will block tomorrow.

2-19-16 - Today started the contrast color. It looks lovely. However, I cannot imagine how my amount of yarn could be so off from the designer’s. I have the same gauge, same number of stitches, and on one size smaller needles.

2-18-16 - I bought Madeline Tosh Twist Light in colorway tart, which is a dark/burnt red. It should be a wonderful contrast to the gray.

2-16-16 - it’s looking like there will not be enough yarn of the gray. There were 44 g left at the beginning of the third lace repeat; the second took 48 g. I’m going to have to have a third hank of yarn. Not sure why mine is taking so much more!

2-3-16 - started knitting. The pattern calls for 22 stitch markers. Once the pattern of yo’s was established, I took out half of them and only left the first on on each section, just to make it easier to slide the yarn and knit. Lovely pattern so far.
