9/6/2016 - pics taken. It took 135 g, 621 yards of yarn.

9/3/2016 - on the blocking mats now. Because I did not do a stitch gauge, my shawl is nowhere near the designer’s original in size. My size while blocking is 70x35. That will shrink up a little once it’s dry and off the mats.

8/29/2016 - Two rows and a bind off to finish this shawl. It has taken more yarn that thought. I have used 29g of the second hank so far. I’m enjoying the knitting very much.

8/25/2016 - Other testers have been weighing their yarn, probably a good idea. I did not until today. I have now finished Row 18 of Chart D and only have 20g left. Luckily, I have another skein of this yarn.

8/24/2016 - did mostly spinning today but did manage to knit a few rows and have now finished Row 6 of Chart D. Not a hard shawl to knit, but the first row of each chart requires attention.

8/19/2016 - began knitting. Instructions are easy to read, but I’m too tired. Tomorrow I will take out four rows. Luckily these are beginning rows and not ending.

8/18/2016 - pattern received and printed. Yarn chosen.
