9-25-2014 pattern received. Began a gauge test with madelinetosh but did not like the way the multi colors blocked the lace pattern. Next test, Misti Alpaca, seems to be uinsg too much yarn.

10-2-2014 after a visit to my LYS, I now have what I hope will be a good match, a more one tone madelinetosh. Cast on for gauge.

10-6-2014 and 10-7-2014. First half completed and now on second half and have 15 of 24 pattern repeats completed. This is an easy, rhythmic knit.

10-10-2014 - 24 repeats complete. Waiting for the weekend to finish.
10-11-14 finished and blocking. Lovely scalloped edge. Lovely knit.

10-11-2014 - finished. In all, it took 134 g of yarn. One hank was 117 g and the other was 119 g. There were 102 left over, so it take more than one of Madelinetosh, which is thicker than most fingering/sock yarn.
