11/19/16-Finished! I am so happy with the way this turned out. The colors are gorgeous! The pattern is fantastic. I used almost all of two balls of yarn. I absolutely love Knit Picks Chroma yarn. It’s easy to work with and very soft. I’m going to wear this as a triangle scarf and to keep my shoulders warm at work. You would need three balls of yarn if you want a larger shawl to wrap up in.

11/12/16-I’m almost finished 1 ball of yarn and have completed 5 repeats including the beginning work. I expect to use two balls of yarn to complete the shawl. Chroma blocks great so the shawl will be a nice size when completed. Blocking gives an open lacy look that I prefer.

I am not cutting the yarn. I’m letting the color changes occur as is. I’ve used chroma many times and the colors always balance out in a way that pleases me once the project is finished. Knit Picks says it’s like magic! I agree. I love not having so many ends to weave in. The colors in this yarn are beautiful!

The pattern is gorgeous. This is my third time making this shawl. There are written directions and a chart. I used both and found the pattern to be easier than it may first appear.

I hope to finish the shawl this weekend. I’ll update pictures as soon as it’s finished.
