I had to break into the second ball for the crocheted edge. Along the bottom edge and up the button band I did *7dc, skip 2, sc, skip 2* Along the top edge, I did *5hdc, skip 2, sc, skip 2*

The yarn is a single ply, so a bit splitty to knit with. It does feel lovely and soft though. The colours aren’t as pretty knitted up as they are in the ball. I think the surprise about this is how ugly it is! In my head, I can’t stop calling it the ‘Baby Barf cardi’.

I loved the pattern though and am having another go.
