They are made in cabinet maker throw off shorts. All of my woods are of the type that will not plane and cabinet makers cut off and throw away.

Walnut, Ash, Persimmon, Hedge Apple, Cherry, Sassafras, & Oak.

Mostly based on the ball and skirt turning motif with a gentle taper to the shaft.
