I used a 4.0mm hook, since I don’t have a 4.5mm. My gauge was a bit off, so I added 2 extra rows, continuing to crochet 2 DC in the center two stitches in the extra rows. As others have done, I added a SC border, and instead of circles I made spirals for the ties.

This was a great stash buster. I used barely any of each color. My final dimensions were 5.5” wide (after folding/seaming), 6” high at the face and 7” high at the peak.
