Notes

Knitted as written, with a few small exceptions:

  1. SSKs were converted to slip one knitwise, insert right needle through back loop of next stitch, knit those two together (twists second stitch, but more closely resembles a mirrored k2tog). I call it Rachel’s SSK because RacehlUnraveled taught me that one.
  2. Ribbing on sleeves was knit with US 3 to more closely match the neckline ribbing gauge, and bound off in pattern.
  3. Grafted the ends of the I-cord bind off together.

If I was to make another, I’d use a different short row technique. I didn’t care for the yo short rows she recommended as they didn’t lie smoothly when knitted.

The color is difficult to capture--there is a heathered, nearly purple element to the yarn. Closest color in pictures two, four, and five.

This is the extra small, and is clearly meant to fit with a lot of positive ease. It fit me like a too-short tee shirt, and I have a 48” bust and am 5’ 8” with an average length torso.

Final sweater weight: 362 grams. So I used just over 7 skeins, like 7.25.
