The initial lace pattern is easy to memorize and very intuitive (chart A). Chart B is also very user-friendly, but with longer repeats and a ton more stitches.

I was trucking along just fine on this until the night before the wedding. Discovered I needed to rip back eight rows to get an even number of stems, and lo, it took me an hour and a half to fix it--because I didn’t use a lifeline. :(

Only a few more rows to go, and should finish today or tomorrow early (June 30).
