30 April 2023: turned out okay. I like the bobbles that I added around the neckline.

• collar circ: 18” taken around
• body/chest circ: 18”
• body length center front: 17.5”
• body length center back: 19”
• body length from underarm to bind off edge: 10”
• upper sleeve circ: 5.5”
• cuff circ: 3.25”
• sleeve length from underarm to bind off edge: 15”
• yoke depth from cast on to underarm: 10”

Gauge 3-colorwork: 24 sts by 24 rows
Gauge 2-colorwork: 22 sts
Gauge plain stockinette: 22 sts

Mods:
• different weight yarn (Supersoft held double)
• i-cord c/o 112
• no ribbed collar
• flower bobbles with increases
• different increases, different stitch count (stopped at 312)
• made changes to colorwork chart
• divided body and sleeve at a different row
• no shaping
• no split hem

My rating:
• 5 stars for clarity. Clearly written.
• 4 stars for overall. The floral motif is so pretty but… I tried knitting this in fingering weight, and even with the updates, the yoke just still didn’t fit well. Hence this modified version. But this modified version with heavier weight yarn had its own challenges. The row gauge is of course different, and I had to divide sooner—even before second leaf motif—lest it become a full blown poncho.
• Medium difficulty. 3-color stranded colorwork is hard.

21 April 2023: all colorwork done. Am now on second sleeve stockinette.

3-color stranded is my arch nemesis. I’m convinced that it wants to kill me.

I’ve shelved the fingering weight version. It was not cooperating. And I’ve started over with Supersoft held double with tons of modifications.
