I followed the written instructions which were very easy to follow with stitch counts for all rows.

11/12 Ran out of yarn halfway through the lace trim, broke down crying.

12/12 Ripped back to lose one repeat on the main body.

26/12 Completed with a small amount of yarn leftover. Total width after blocking was 70”, pattern suggests 59” so I must be a loose lace knitter which explain why I ran out of yarn.

The wall in the background was built with Cornish stone.
