I altered the pattern slightly. I only did 2 rows of dc either side of the clusters.

For the border I used 8 rows of sc.

Mine is slightly more rows than the pattern calls for, as a result I wish I’d made it a little wider as the dimensions are a little odd. I’ve blocked it hard on the width and left the length and that’s helped a lot but it could have done with being just a little wider.
