My little brother for his 30th birthday in feb 2014
dont know final dimensions but about 70 x 90 inches i think. it is 300 x 220 stitches plus a borderto be added afterwards! so pretty big

this is going to be for my brothers 30th birthday a year in feb.

i am using my brand new symphonie rose hooks and giving myself lots of time.

lets see how it goes!

UPDATE: it’s finally finished. This is my favourite project to date. The finished blanket is 5 feet high and 7.5 feet wide. Weighs in at just under 2.5kg, has 65,400 stitches and took an estimated 4,500 hours to make. It went in to hibernation twice but once I neared my deadline of my brothers 30th birthday I got the second half finished in just over a month.

Just so you can truly appreciate the size of this. The second picture has a DVD in the middle!
